Description
Restore Consistent Airflow and Thermal Performance
Keep your kamado firebox operating at peak culinary performance with the Primo PG0177507 Heavy-Duty Cast Iron Charcoal Grate. Positioned at the very base of your grill's interior bowl, the charcoal grate is subjected to intense direct heat cook after cook. Upgrading to this factory-spec replacement part ensures your lump charcoal and wood chunks sit on a secure, rock-solid platform, rejuvenating the fast-lighting properties and uniform fuel burning your Primo is celebrated for.
The primary key to perfecting low-and-slow smoking or searing temperatures inside a ceramic cooker is uninhibited ventilation. This cast iron grate features integrated airflow paths designed to pull intake air cleanly up through the heart of your charcoal bed. This continuous convective movement prevents fire suffocation from expanding ash while helping spent embers slide away cleanly to the bottom collection well.
Features
- Direct OEM Fitment: Crafted with precision dimensions to drop directly into the lower fire bowl cutout of the Primo Oval Large 300 series.
- Industrial Cast Iron Engineering: Thick, high-density construction offers exceptional structural durability to resist cracking, degradation, and thermal shock over long grilling seasons.
- Calibrated Airflow Matrix: Molded ventilation slots maximize bottom oxygen induction, eliminating cold pockets and allowing precise regulation via your draft door.
- Clean Fuel Separation: Sized perfectly to suspend usable lump charcoal and hardwood chips while allowing choked powder ash to drop down effortlessly out of the active burning zone.
Applications
Intended strictly as an internal maintenance replacement part for built-in or freestanding residential Primo Oval LG 300 ceramic kamado grills. Perfect for refreshing a rusted, clogged, or aged factory coal grate to reclaim quick preheating times.
